Prom season is finally approaching, and this year’s theme is inspired by the iconic 2008 film Twilight. Think glowing lights, mysterious forests, elegant romance, and a night that feels straight out of Forks, Washington. Whether you’re planning a dramatic entrance worthy of a vampire or just excited to dance the night away with friends, this year’s prom is shaping up to be unforgettable.
Before you start planning your outfit or deciding who you’re bringing, there’s an important deadline coming up.
Guest Pass Deadline: Friday, March 13
Attention upperclassmen! This Friday, March 13th is the LAST DAY to submit guest passes for Prom. If you want to bring someone who is not a current GVHS 11th or 12th grader, they must have an approved guest pass submitted no later than 3:00 PM to Mrs. Coleman in the Activities Office.
This includes:
Students from other schools Graduated guests Current GVHS 9th and 10th graders
Guest Pass Requirements
To have your guest considered for approval, the guest pass must include:
A signature from your guest A signature from their parent or guardian A signature from their school administrator A photo of their photo ID attached
Please note that guests may only be approved if they attend a CCSD school.
Make sure everything is completed correctly before turning it in to avoid delays or denial. Planning ahead is key!
Where to Get a Guest Pass
If you still need a guest pass, you can pick one up from Mr. Patai in Room 204.
Ticket Information
Prom tickets will go on sale after Spring Break. When you purchase your ticket, Mr. Patai will confirm whether your guest pass has been approved or denied, so make sure you submit everything before the deadline.
