Are you a rising junior or senior for the 2026–2027 school year? If you’ve ever been curious about what it’s really like to work in federal law enforcement, here’s your chance to go beyond TV shows and headlines and step into the real world of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

What Is the FBI Teen Academy?

The FBI Las Vegas Teen Academy is a FREE, two-day immersive program designed specifically for high school students entering grades 11–12. Hosted at the FBI Las Vegas Field Office, this academy offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how the FBI operates on a daily basis. Scheduled for June 10–11, 2026, the program runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day, providing 6–8 hours of engaging instruction and hands-on demonstrations.

What You’ll Learn

Participants won’t just sit through lectures—they’ll experience a dynamic mix of presentations and real-world insights from FBI professionals. Topics include:

  • Counterterrorism and national security
  • Cybersecurity and cybercrime investigations
  • Public corruption cases
  • Evidence response techniques
  • SWAT operations and tactical response
  • Day-to-day operations inside an FBI office

This is a chance to understand the complexity and importance of the FBI’s work, straight from the people who do it.

Hands-On Experiences

  • Based on the program highlights, students may:
  • Observe simulated investigative scenarios
  • Learn how evidence is collected and analyzed
