STEM Academic Competition

The house app challenge is beginning!

This year is the 11th annual congressional STEM Academic competition. This competition is for middle and high school students in Nevadas first congressional district. Students will be tested in using their creativity to showcase their software applications, and or app for the following devices, mobile, tablet, or computer on a platform of their own choosing. During the competition, applicants will be given numerous opportunities to engage with several STEM academic partners located within the community to instruct and assist them with their application and or app development. Applicants will create or design an application or app and develop a video demonstration elaborating their product and what they have learned. Students can register for the competition by going to https://www.congressionalappchallenge.us/students/student-registration/. The submission deadline is October 30, 2025.
