Green Valley’s Speech and Debate team had another busy two days competing in two separate tournaments.

The first tournament was based out of Pennsylvania.

Forensics University hosted an online national varisty level competition that saw 11 states and 25 schools on Friday and Saturday.

The second tournament was the Wildcat Invitational Novice Debates Tournament held at Las Vegas High School.

Wildcat Invitational

Lincoln Douglas Debate: Red Vales – 2nd (Undefeated record and was forced to go to the third tier breaker between first and second.)

Yuri Gutierrez-7th

Fall Classic (Pennsylvania)

Informative: Lainey Michaelson – 5th

Drama: Eloise McCormick – 4th

Lexi Coleman – 5th

Duo: Liv Michaelson/Lainey Michaelson – 1st

The team will be at Foothill this coming weekend for the second NIETOC QUALIFIER hosted in the Valley.
