Nevada All-State Choir

HENDERSON NEV. (GVTV NEWS)- Congratulations to the following GVHS Choir Students who were selected for the 2023 Nevada American Choral Directors Association High School All-State Choir:

Celeste Barry, Ellery Bartucci, Blake Bauer, Alison Bollard, Alahna Burns, Maxwell Claydon, Alexa Megan Clemente, Shawn Anthony Collado, Annika De Lima, Jayla Flowers, Katie Gallagher, Benny Garcia, Ben Gardner, Lily Jacobson, Judaea Johnson, Johnny Karigaines, Tanner Lewis, Bryan Lopez, Amaya Mackey, Rosie Martinez, Porter Melgar, Eros Mendoza, Earen Mertes, Logan Murray, Makenzie Niewinski, Ynamariz Ocan, Wyatt Reece, Mary Rodriguez, Riley Stannard, and Weston Steed.

GVHS had the highest number of students selected than any comprehensive high school in the state.  Special congratulations to Ben Gardner and Earen Mertes who were selected as section leaders – scoring the highest in the entire state.

The All-State Choir Concert is on Friday, April 21st, at 6:30 p.m., in Artemus Ham Hall at UNLV.  Tickets are $10.00
