BSU meeting with Sankofa

Black Student Union is having a meeting on Wednesday, January 9th at 1:30 pm in room 200.

Sankofa, which is an organization within Nevada State University, is joining them to talk about the organization and its goals. (Sankofa in the Twi language of Ghana means “to retrieve.”) 

The organization Sankofa is dedicated to supporting the recruitment of black students at Nevada State University through mentorship by black faculty and staff, community events and internship opportunities, partnership with local black organizations such as the NAACP, and much more.
